    • Responsible for protecting computers, software, data, and/or information systems against viruses, worms, spyware, malware, intrusion detection, unauthorized access, denial-of-service attacks, 
    • Works with cross-functional Security Incident Response Team
    • Broad knowledge of all aspects of information security with in depth understanding of Firewall, IDS, VPN, Authentication technologies, Key Microsoft Technologies, Cisco, Checkpoint, and network fundamentals. Industry certifications: CEH preferred.
    • Investigating and analyzing security incidents and work with internal/external customers involved
    • Conducting forensic investigation, identifying root cause analysis and providing appropriate recommendations for security incidents
    • Responsible for security event monitoring and security alerts, security incident report investigation, and incident handling working closely with internal teams. Respond to Rambus Security incidents.
    • Investigate the incidents and minimize false positives on security alerts.
    • Create/maintain rules, filters, dashboards, and reports in SIEM system to identify malware activity, misconfigurations, and/or anomalies. Using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) application along with a variety of other security related applications for monitoring on a daily basis.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Security processes, by evaluating and updating SOPs and Security Information and Event Monitor alerts.
    • Conducts analysis of security issues by reviewing logs to establish event timelines and resolve access issues.
    • Research the latest information security trends.
    • Should have Knowledge on vulnerability scanning using the Qualys or other equivalent network vulnerability assessment tools.
    • Ability to research and understand the latest vulnerabilities and threats.
    • Prepare and deliver reports recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential threats in systems across the organization.
    • Learn and understand current security infrastructure devices, outputs and functions (i.e., IPD/IDS, Firewalls, AV).

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Security.
    • Degree/Masters in Engineering, IT or related discipline.
    • Excellent technical documentation skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed.
    • Troubleshooting and configuration abilities.
