    Vice President of Product & Marketing

    The Rambus Cryptography Division is seeking an experienced leader with deep embedded security technology expertise and a demonstrated track-record of delivering business results. Poised for growth in the recently more focused Rambus portfolio of secure, connected, semiconductors – the candidate would report to the General Manager of the security products division as a critical partner in defining and executing the next phase of the business.



    1. Lead the development and execution of the security division’s growth strategy and supporting product and business planning processes
    2. Develop and execute go-to-market plans in close partnership with Sales to achieve business results
    3. Identify and champion key ecosystem partnerships and M&A opportunities to accelerate growth and shareholder value creation
    4. Develop and maintain product roadmaps and resource prioritization to drive engineering execution and achieve business objectives – help create a passion for product excellence in the eyes of the customer
    5. Manage 6 direct report Product Managers and Product Marketing personnel (senior level individual contributors)
    6. Help lead the creation of a competitive product culture across WW sites which now include the Bay Area (SF and SV), Rotterdam, Espoo, and Bangalore
    7. Lead the creation of the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan Documents which govern the division
    8. Identify key security product trends and opportunities for innovation and contribution v.s. the competition and in-house alternatives.



    1. Proven ability to lead and achieve results from a diverse, multi-site and international team delivering embedded security products
    2. Strong technical skills and product definition capability with an ability to influence deeply technical development teams. Ideally both HW and SW experienced in defining complex security system solutions
    3. Balanced leadership style which is both collaborative, yet decisive and results oriented
    4. Strong desire and passion to drive change and transformation to achieve superior results. The ideal candidate would have led or partnered in a successful turn- around situation in a related market or product set
    5. Demonstrated ability and desire to partner with Sales to build strong customer relationships – excellent communication skills required
