    • Specify, develop and deploy applications, tools and scripts for security-related applications.
    • Create software, process and tools to manage keys, configurations, and automate customer deliverables.
    • Troubleshoot and root cause production system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Lead design and implementation efforts, turning product requirements into software-based solutions within a distributed security platform.
    • Apply OS and application security patching across Linux based platforms.



    • At least five years of relevant professional Linux based system administration experience
    • Very high technical competence within desired skillsets identified
    • Self-starter who drives projects and tasks to completion with minimal supervision
    • Ability to identify technical and process inefficiencies, propose solutions and execute on implementations in a timely manner
    • Team player with a willingness to share knowledge, learn from others and strive for excellence
    • Experience with technical documentation and overall systems planning




    Ideal candidates will possess exceptional troubleshooting skills, have a deep understanding of computer security issues, and leverage high-level technical competence in the following areas:

    • Experience with at least one scripting language (python, perl, shell scripting).
    • Automation of server hardware bring-up, imaging, installation and configuration.
    • Maintenance of a custom Linux distribution; desirably CentOS, RHEL.
    • Proficiency managing yum repositories, building, patching and installing RPMS.
    • Understanding TCP/IP and other network protocols including use of
    • network and application debugging/profiling tools (Wireshark, GDB, Valgrind).
    • Experience with VPN security protocols, features, and configuration.
    • Linux based security expertise and implementations (firewalls, device hardening, vulnerability scanning/patching).
    • Distributed computing, clustering, virtualization, high availability, load balancing.
    • Experience supporting platforms which use hardware security modules (HSMs).
    • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools and infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
    • Experience with or willingness to learn about semiconductor and OEM manufacturing test and assembly flow
    • Linux and GNU/Linux build tools (gcc, make, autoconf, etc.)
