    We are looking for a Principal Engineer in Security Architecture and Cryptography.

    The position is located in our San Francisco office, reporting into the Cryptography Products Group -- Security Architecture Team.

    The team is in charge of security architecture for all new product introductions, threat modelling, security architecture specifications, security analysis, internal security consulting, research, innovation and technical pre-sales support. 


    The security architect will be responsible for:

    • security architecture for new products
    • security reviews of product implementations
    • drafting security specifications
    • furthering knowledge in Cryptography and embedded security
    • research in security/crypto and publication
    • innovation, IP creation and patent application filing 


    • PhD in Mathematics or Cryptography
    • + 5 to 8 years of experience in this field
    • Public Key and Symmetric Key cryptography
    • Algorithms and cryptographic primitives (MACs, Block Ciphers, Stream Ciphers, Signatures, Encryption)
    • Security Protocols (TLS, IPSEC, etc.) and Standards
    • Embedded Security use cases, Root of Trust, secure boot, secure OS,
    • Hands on HW and/or SW development in the field of embedded Security/Cryptography
    • Knowledge of Hardware Security, Tamper resistance, side-channel attacks, anti-cloning, PUFs is a plus
    • Ability to specify/communicate clearly and expose ideas to others
    • Strong interpersonal skills, open minded and creative
