    We are seeking a Global Events Manager to be responsible for organizing corporate and business unit tradeshow events and conferences including research, planning, and all logistics from concept to execution, including budget management. The role will be required to interface with the various functions within the Corporate Marketing team as well as the BU’s as part of Rambus’ global event management

    Responsibilities

     

    • Lead meetings and assist sales/marketing/BD in accomplishing strategic marketing objectives through tradeshows and other marketing events.
    • Maintain annual calendar of events and manage annual events budget.
    • Interact with digital marketing team to ensure proper communication of event activities through digital channels.
    • Interface with executives, Solutions Marketing and engineering teams on all event-related matters to determine status, availability and functionality of demo equipment.
    • Work with Solutions Marketing team to determine event strategies and key messaging.
    • Serve as primary liaison with vendors and industry organizations to ensure all logistics are clearly communicated and documented.
    • Collaborate with shipping (both inbound and outbound) of demo equipment.
    • Maintain promotional items by keeping an accurate account of items in stock, including the distribution of giveaways to internal teams for various events and career day activities.
    • Administrative tasks such as generating purchase orders, entering invoices into Oracle, and contracts into CMS.
    • Update SalesForce.com with all relevant event information.

    Qualifications

     

    • 7-10 years’ experience with proven track record in Events and group coordination.
    • BA or equivalent experience.
    • Detail-oriented and multi-tasking skills to manage many details of an event.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and be willing to work with tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work extended hours when necessary and travel as needed.
    • 25-50% Travel, domestic and international
