    Due to the recent growth in new product releases, project implementations, maintenance of our products, and customer support we are expanding our enthusiastic team.


    As Technical Project Manager (TPM) your main responsibility is the configuration and deployment of complex international software implementations on a project basis, meeting the contractually established solution requirements of our clients.

    You will form part of a highly skilled and motivated project team in co-operation with Project Management and help define and estimate the work effort required to successfully meet the client’s solution requirements while ensuring scope of the solution is aligned with the licensed product.  

    You will be responsible to create, manage and maintain the project’s Solution Design Document (SDD) for client approval which will ensure the design and scope is clearly set and baselined with the client and project delivery team. After approval of the SDD and alignment with project management on the overall work effort required for technical deployment, you are responsible for ensuring that the product is built, configured and deployed successfully supporting the client requirements outlined in the SDD until production go-live and acceptance of the solution is received.

    You will guide the technical teams and monitor the progress of the technical activities identified to ensure a successful solution deployment. Furthermore you will report the status of technical progress to project management and attend internal and external project meetings as required.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Define, configure and deploy complex international software solutions working with a diverse and highly-skilled team, consisting of project managers, business analysts, software engineers, QA engineers and subject matter experts.
    • Ability to understand the technical solutions being delivered and key functionalities the solutions provides enabling you to support client questions and provide accurate direction to client and project team(s).
    • Create, manage and maintain a detailed solution design document that defines the technical solution in alignment with contractual requirements to ensure solution scope is agreed.
    • Provide concise and accurate work effort forecasting of technical activities required to complete the technical solution, and reporting progress of technical activities to project management to ensure overall schedule for delivery is maintained.
    • Clearly identify changes to scope and advise project teams, provide accurate and effective technical analysis on changes to original scope.
    • Responsible for delivery of the project in conformity with the solution design. Work closely with QA with regard to test cases for the project.
    • Be able to quickly recognize obstacles in systems and transfer your vision to the technical teams involved in the project.
    • Installing and configuring products within internal test and/or external client systems.
    • Collaboration with engineering to ensure and support Issue and release management relevant to your project deliveirs.
    • Travelling as required to our clients worldwide for project deliveries (shakedown tests and installation on-site).


    • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Computer Engineering or Applied Computer Science)
    • At least 3-5 year experience in a similar job
    • A background in software development: be able to read log files, familiar with Java stack traces
    • Knowledge of Windows, UNIX and knowledge of databases: Oracle, SQL
    • Knowledge of EMV or at least knowledge of mobile payments
    • Source control knowledge (SVN, Git, Gitflow) and relevant software management tools (JIRA)
    • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
    • Preferred: knowledge of HSMs and experienced in software implementations on-site
    • Beneficial: knowledge of cryptography, Weblogic, Websphere, Jboss
