  • Overview

    This senior test engineer will join a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team which will enable the ATE test develop for products in our memory and interface division. This engineer will collaborate with a fast-paced internal cross-functional team to define cost sensitive production test solutions.  There will be interaction with our overseas test subcontractors as well delivering production wafer sort and final test solutions. Candidates for this senior level position must be capable of working independently, defining technical direction, be self-motivated and a collaborative team player.



    • Work with DFT and design team to define test plans for new products
    • Develop test strategies with the test engineering team to ensure product performance during all phases of product life cycles
    • Work with product engineering and system validation team to get yields to D0.
    • Have a complete test program ready in advance of first silicon
    • Bring-up and debug first silicon quickly in order to identify any potential design or yield issues.
    • Optimize test programs for volume manufacturing so product cost is in-line with cost model.
    • Identify areas of improvement in current production test programs
    • Generate test methods as needed to improve throughput and/or functionality
    • Perform sustaining engineering tasks
    • Write and maintain product release documentation
    • Work with vendors to develop load-boards & probe card for ATE platform in production
    • Work with overseas subcontractors to ensure smooth transition to production




    • BSEE required, MSEE preferred
    • 12+ years of experience on Verigy 93K
    • Strong programming background (C, C++, PERL)
    • Knowledge of DFT (scan, IDDQ, JTAG) and analog test methodologies
    • Hands-on experience in creating and implementing automated test solutions
    • Strong hardware design and troubleshooting skills in analog and digital electronics
    • Hands-on experience with test software such as Smartest
    • Familiarity with lab instruments like Oscilloscopes and TDR
    • Good communicator and team player
    • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
