    Rambus is on an exciting journey. 9 years ago, we were a 200 person company based solely in Sunnyvale, California. Fast forward to today, we are over 1200 people with locations across the globe: Rotterdam, Scotland, Finland, Australia, South Korea, China and India to name a few.

     

    With our incredible growth, an amazing opportunity has emerged as the Global Facilities Director for Rambus. We have a lot of projects on our plate in several of our global locations and you’ll be a critical component to our success. Year one is focused around understanding our global footprint coupled with our growth plans to lay out a global vision for what great facilities management looks like around the world. You’ll be a big partner in highlighting Rambus as an employer of choice on a global scale

    Responsibilities

     

    Along with the long term vision comes the day to day responsibilities, so let’s face it, you’ll also need the tactical experience to go along with your vision. In this role, you’ll also be responsible for leading and coordinating all building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and electrical while staying up to date with the latest BMS technology trends. Part of that is also managing all facets of inspections and surveys, including energy audits, LEED surveys, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and accessibility compliance. This span of control also includes minor design and construction activities for outside contractors and vendors at all sites, including oversight of our growing worldwide portfolio. You’ll also have to be a coach, the team will look to your to lead by example. Most (I say most cause there are some drop in’s) of the work orders are process in ServiceNow so being good with that would be sweet as well. Did I mention Security and Safety yet…yep, that falls under your responsibility as well!

    Qualifications

     

    Do you have experience helping a company expand their globally facilities footprint? When and where? Do you have a strong working knowledge of commercial MEP systems, specifically HVAC, plumbing, fire and life safety systems and electrical distribution networks? You do?? Let’s talk!!!


    To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator. Let’s face it, without it, you won’t be successful in this role.You’ve been a past leader with experience leading teams of 6+ employees, including budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client or customer relations experience for a minimum of 5 global locations.
