    Rambus is looking for a proven leader to join as our Global Head of Total Rewards. We are looking for a super smart, out of the box thinker, who is eager to make a difference and shape the TR department and the company at large. Reporting to our Senior Vice President of Human Resources, this leader will drive Rambus’ success through shaping the company’s compensation and benefits strategies. Quantitative rigor, business mindset, and strong communication skills are critical to this role. We are seeking a designer at heart who can also implement total rewards programs that will attract and retain world class talent to Rambus. The Global Head of Total Rewards will coach and develop a small team of C&B professionals, and engage, hands-on, to get things done.


    • Review and revise Rambus’s compensation and total rewards philosophy, strategy and practices; ensure alignment with our business growth goals and People Team priorities
    • Lead the compensation and benefits team, develop and coach
    • Drive analytical rigor and deep analysis as part of the TR practices, ensure the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing programs; establish and drive key metrics in the business effectiveness of both the Compensation and the Benefits programs
    • Ensure operational efficiency in order to scale the team’s impact; build internal processes and systems to support what the company needs today and with an eye to future needs
    • Partner closely with various functional teams within Rambus, including Talent Acquisition, HR BPs, HRIS, Finance, Payroll
    • Innovate and react quickly as business and market realities change, staying up to date on best practices and trends; ensure compliance with applicable legislation
    • Excel in change management and ensure strong communication of total rewards philosophy and practices with managers, employees, and within the People Team. 


    • 10+ years’ experience in total rewards, compensation and benefits, and/or compensation consulting
    • Proven experience in creating and managing innovative, compelling compensation and total rewards programs in a fast-paced environment; skilled at interpreting business needs and making decisions based on data and emerging priorities
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations; financial prowess and ability to build and manage budgets, build predictive and projective models, full understanding of equity practices, accounting, taxation, etc.
    • Proven ability to track, prioritize and drive to success multiple concurrent projects; demonstrated expertise as an executor, with strong operational background
    • Experience in M&A due diligence and integration
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of an organization on key compensation and benefits topics;
    • Open and flexible with internal clients, yet balanced in maintaining consistency in total rewards philosophies and practices
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication skills
    • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
