We continue to evolve to meet customer needs and have added exciting new business units, both in the US and abroad with a focus on security and software in the mobile and IoT markets; including smart ticketing and smart payment cards. As well, we have added product offerings in our traditional Hardware/Memory group.


    Exciting opportunity to help us grow the accounting team with Revenue Recognition expertise!



    • Provide revenue recognition guidance based on authoritative literature (ASC606) and company policies
    • Work with cross functional teams from the business units, sales and legal to review and negotiate contracts that comply with company policies and achieve optimal financial terms
    • Ensure revenue team participation in and selection of appropriate revenue model as new products are introduced
    • Work with business units to maintain fair value targets and ensure adherence to applicable pricing committee guidelines
    • Prepare technical accounting memos for revenue recognition on key sales contracts

    Other key responsibilities:

    • Interpretation of the new revenue guidance
    • Strive to improve and streamline financial processes and work closely with the IT and Operations team as we transition our business model
    • Assist with hand-off from contract signing to revenue recognition to ensure that customer arrangements booked in the company ERP reflect revenue recognition model and guidelines established for the deal
    • Work with external auditors to ensure that company interpretation of revenue recognition guidance and internal revenue policies comply with GAAP



    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or other business related field
    • CPA required
    • 8+ years of combined experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm as well as publicly-traded software company
    • Demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition, with strong focus on software revenue recognition
    • Strong technical accounting skills as well as solid knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley / internal control frameworks
    • Proficiency in accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, business analytics applications and complex billing systems; experience with Oracle preferred
    • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Self-starter who is able to provide high level technical guidance as well as attend to everyday details in a collaborative manner
    • Excellent communications skills with the ability to explain and communicate complex accounting issues to business partners
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
