Rambus is looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer working on modeling, analysis, and verification of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) for serial links and high-speed memory interfaces.
In this role, the candidate will develop models for the passive components of the signaling channel and the power supply network at system, package, and chip-level using EM field solver tools. The candidate will develop macro-models of passive components from measurements, developing de-embedding strategies and modeling topologies. Will define new modeling and simulation methodologies to improve our SI/PI analysis capabilities used in the design of advanced interface systems and will drive implementing these methodologies in our modeling and simulation environment and correlating the results with measurements on system and test structures. Will support defining I/O signaling topology, analyzing link performance, and simulating on-chip circuit sensitivity. The candidate will also develop system-level voltage and timing (VT) budgets and power supply budgets and derive specifications for link components.
