Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Track, review and analyze revenue transactions post contract signing
  • Provide support for technical accounting memo writing
  • Assist with worldwide AR review and close activities
  • Analyze and track open orders, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, accounts receivable and collections
  • Participate in month end close
  • Assist with Oracle and RevPro systems integration projects
  • Assist with ASC 606 data analysis, transition and reporting
  • Prepare contract revenue accounting calculations and percentage of completion analysis

Other Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries related to revenue recognition
  • Coordinate reconciliation of sub ledger accounts to general ledger
  • Provide and support appropriate levels of reviews and oversight for activities performed by offshore associates
  • Ensure all deadlines and schedules are met on time and in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • Document workflow, procedures, checklists, and policies for assigned tasks
  • Confirm and abide by all internal procedures, policies and regulatory guidance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting plus more than 7 years of accounting experience or Graduate of a four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or in other related field
  • CPA with public company experience is preferred
  • Must have excellent spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Experience with Oracle and RevPro preferred
  • Must be hands on
  • Ability to utilize independent judgment in establishing the accuracy and reasonableness of information
  • Ability to work cordially with people of different backgrounds in the organization
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to share knowledge and information at different levels of the organization
  • Efficient in communicating both orally and in writing with all levels of staff
  • Must be customer friendly and focused with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to successfully resolve and manage conflict
