Due to the recent growth in new product releases, project implementations, maintenance of our products, and customer support we are expanding our enthusiastic team.


This position reports to the Sr. Dir. Business Operations, and is responsible for managing customer orders for the Rambus Payments and Ticketing businesses.  Of particular importance is the initial booking of new orders and the accurate capture of customer and contract information so that all of the billable events across the life of the program are accurately represented in our orders management system (Oracle).


There will be substantial interaction with the Business Unit Operations, Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams, and it is the primary role of the Orders Manager to ensure the integrity of the backlog view.  Further, ensuring the Accounting team has the necessary information and resolution to any open questions to allow for accurate Revenue Recognition disposition is of critical importance.



  • Backlog (orders) management
  • Customer support for orders, changes, and inquiries
  • Backlog analysis in support of Sales and Business Unit forecasting
  • Master Data Management for orders processes
  • Transactional process development and stabilization for transfer to our India transaction team



  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally having orders management responsibilities
  • Experience in the Orders to Cash sequence including RMA and related revenue implications of various transactions
  • Transactional experience with orders management systems, familiarity with Oracle
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid data-handling and analysis skills, ideally having experience with forecasting and operations metrics such as delivery performance
  • Ability to generate relevant reports and support information requests from operations or finance
  • Ability to work seamlessly with Business teams, IT, Finance and Accounting and Sales teams
  • Ability to organize complex situations and manage fluid information
  • Ability to develop and stabilize transactional processes for transfer to our India transaction team
