Rambus offices in Rotterdam specializes in mobile token management software for card issuers to safely bring cards onto the mobile devices of their customers. Its certified and award-winning management software integrates with Mobile Pay solutions and independent mobile wallets to allow end-users to ‘tap & pay’ via NFC smartphones and wearables.

Whether cards are stored on the device or in the cloud using host card emulation (HCE), Rambus adapts to any mobile payments ecosystem and ensures security through tokenization; it enables customers to fulfil the role of a token service provider (TSP), securing transactions by removing vulnerable card data from the payment network.

Due to the recent growth in new product releases, project implementations, maintenance of our products, and customer support we are expanding our enthusiastic team.


Your tasks/responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery of the project in conformity with the solution design
  • Correct estimation of time regarding development work
  • Be able to quickly recognize obstacles in systems and transfer your vision to the software developers involved in the project
  • Installing and configuring products
  • Work closely with QA with regard to test cases for the project
  • Issue and release management
  • Discuss technical issues with clients and provide solutions
  • Travelling as required to our clients worldwide for project deliveries (tests and installation on-site)



  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Computer Engineering or Applied Computer Science)
  • At least 3-5 year experience in a similar job
  • A background in software development: be able to read log files, familiar with Java stack traces
  • Knowledge of Windows, UNIX and knowledge of databases: Oracle, SQL
  • Knowledge of EMV or at least knowledge of mobile payments
  • Source control knowledge (SVN, Git, Gitflow)
  • Experienced in software implementations on-site
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Preferred: knowledge of HSMs
  • Beneficial: knowledge of cryptography, Weblogic, Websphere, Jboss
