Due to the recent growth in new product releases, project implementations, maintenance of our products, and customer support we are expanding our enthusiastic team.
You are responsible for managing QA Test Engineers in-house and off-shore. You will report to the VP, CTO about the status and progress of the testing for the products and customer projects. Sign-off on the quality of products and customer releases prior to delivery. The Test Manager will be a member of the core team of the Rambus payments group. The Test manager will manage the QA Test team and is responsible for quality control of the software deliveries.
The following tasks are part of your job:
Responsible for defining the QA strategy, approach and executing within the software development process
Responsible for leading and directing the Software test and QA team
Planning and managing the test resources based on test resource allocation requests from project and product managers
Mentor, and provide leadership to the team
Be accountable for the test automation projects
Participate in interviews, introduction, training and performance evaluation of all the team members
Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance and Testing
Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and test automation
Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the team
Direct the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework. Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing
Work with (Technical) Project Managers and Software Development managers to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
10+ years of QA management experience across multipe projects, off-shore and in-house
A strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the QA processing and strategies
Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly
Experience in managing testing departments or testing functions, managing large and complex activities and processes
Flexible with the ability to and work under pressure
Proactive, strong minded, quick thinker and assertive

ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing
Experience in payments / banking / retail industry
Good understanding of the requirements analysis, definition and specification process
Familiar with IT software solutions and the software development life-cycle
Due to the nature of this position travel to India on a regular basis is required.
