Overview

Rambus's Bell ID is the mobile payments company for card issuers to safely bring cards onto the mobile devices of their customers. Its certified and award-winning management software integrates with Mobile Pay solutions and independent mobile wallets to allow end-users to ‘tap & pay’ via NFC smartphones and wearables.

Whether cards are stored on the device or in the cloud using host card emulation (HCE), Bell ID adapts to any mobile payments ecosystem and ensures security through tokenization; it enables customers to fulfil the role of a token service provider (TSP), securing transactions by removing vulnerable card data from the payment network.

Responsibilities

As the  Technical Pre-Sales Consultant you will translate the business requirements into a technically and financially sound solution. You will provide correct and timely technical input for commercial responses as part of the sales cycles, potential product enhancements and partner support by:

  • Qualifying the RFI/RFP and advising on feasibility and viability.
  • Defining technical solutions based on the customer requirements.
  • Estimating Professional Services required for implementations and creating a high level project plan in collaboration with a Project Manager.
  • Cost engineering of the solution.
  • Being a commercial advisor in business development issues about markets, concepts and solutions; a functional advisor in new products and new solutions and an internal advisor on vertical markets such as EMV and Identity and Mobile.
  • Advising external parties such as clients and partners, helping them position and plan Bell ID products to meet their business needs.
  • Identifying the gap between customer demand and the products as potential roadmap items.
  • Providing demonstrations and presentations to existing and potential clients worldwide.
  • Being able to collaborate with other company disciplines, such as testing, services and development.
  • Working closely together with Bell ID partners during the (pre) sales process.

Qualifications

A successfully completed study (Computer Engineering or Applied Computer Science); experience in smart card and/or security (software industry) technologies. Ideally you will have experience as a technical sales (or pre sales) consultant in finance or ICT.

 

Candidates with good technical skills who can demonstrate an ability to share this experience with a mixed audience of technical and less technical people will also be considered.

 

 

Furthermore you may be experienced in databases, sales support, analyses or in telesales and/or sales support. You have a good understanding of EMV, contactless payments and cryptography and your written and verbal communication skills in English are excellent.
