Rambus Security is launching a new security service on top of our industry leading CryptoManager platform called IoT Device Management (IDM) to address the expanding need for security in IoT in market segments such as smart home, smart city, medical, industrial automation and others. We are expanding our team to hire an expert in sales engineering that understands cybersecurity and security-as-a-service and will be able to apply this expertise and networking in the IoT service market. This candidate will collaborate with our product marketing group, sales, and management team to build and grow our business.

What You Will Do To Help Us…

Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and via WebEx, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Rambus Security solutions can provide value to their organization. In addition……..


  • Translate customer challenges into technical solution proposals
  • Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record to drive revenue
  • Work independently as a vital member of a sales team to position and promote Rambus security solutions
  • Work with the sales team to strategize on achieving customer wins
  • Lead successful product evaluations and PoCs
  • Be a TEAM player
  • Play a pro-active technical account management role within target accounts which include relationship and business development activities
  • Work in conjunction with sales, marketing, and product management to be the technical bridge for our customers



Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. (MS preferred)
  • 5+ years successful experience in Pre-Sales and/or Field Application Engineering



Additional Qualifications:

  • Cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) –  MS Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle experience
  • Experience with selling and supporting distributed computing client/server platforms
  • Understanding of Cloud and Enterprise software server architecture and design
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux containers
  • Knowledge of Linux systems (System admin knowledge a huge plus)
  • Ability to write prototype code using REST APIs
  • Must be willing and able to travel onsite to customers


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with end-point device software (drivers, middleware, applications, etc)
  • Embedded programming development (C, C++)
  • Understanding of security models and protocols
  • Deep understanding of multiple scripting languages
