Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an exceptional Sr. Manager Product Engineering to join our Global Operations team in San Jose. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.

 

As a Sr. Manager Product Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in (add brief overview of key responsibilities and impact). In this full time role, you’ll report directly to our VP of Global Operations. Our Product Engineering is dedicated to rolling out new products to our OSAT’s, and your contributions will be instrumental in the Cost of test and Quality.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Product Engineers located in multiple countries.
  • Project management with effective communications skills with internal cross functional teams, customers and suppliers.
  • Communicate weekly product status and updates on yield, OEE and quality trends.
  • Execute effective teamwork by collaborating with global teams to enable new product introductions at the OSAT’s.
  • Enable product Test Flow implementation to ensure lowest Cost of Test and highest Quality.
  • Mentor and support direct reports in their career development to be able to have scalability of the organization.

Qualifications

  • B.S/M.S in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in managing a Team of engineers.
  • Knowledge in Test engineering and testers a plus.
  • Ability to learn and problem solve.
  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communications and reaching across functional borders

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.  

 

The US salary range for this full-time position is $156,900 to $291,300. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
