Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an exceptional Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

 

Responsibilities

Accounting:

Global Fixed Asset Accounting:

  • Review of capitalizations, Asset packages
  • Review Month close reports, Journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Participating in monthly FA review with the US accounting team on status update.
  • Review and update FA policy

 

Rambus India Payroll:

  • Responsible for reviewing the work of payroll analyst on monthly payroll.
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll vendor and other businesses, as needed, on monthly payroll disbursement.
  • Review of payroll reports, month end journal entries on payroll and
  • Responsible for Stock Based compensation workings and ensure quarterly accounting and Invoicing

 

Rambus India General Accounting (IGAAP):

  • Review of monthly/quarterly journal entries
  • Oversee month close activities
  • Review of monthly/quarterly financials to identify significant movements
  • Coordinate and take part in discussions on Statutory/Internal/Compliance Audit and ensuring closure

 

Compliance

 

Company Law:

  • Coordinate with consultants on Board meeting/AGM documents and participate in the meetings. Ensure compliance required under the Companies Act.
  • Filing of necessary forms with MCA, Annual filings, XBRL reporting
  • Coordinate with the consultants on other filings such as OPI returns, Form DPT3, MSME

 

Direct Tax:

Corporate Tax:

  • Co-ordinate with HR/FP&A, Procurement accounting team to collate required data and prepare Quarterly Advance tax computations and ensure that Advance tax installment is paid within the due date.
  • Prepare quarterly tax provision and tax status file required by corporate accounting team
  • Coordinate with Tax consultants to prepare, 3CD, 3CEB reports, Tax computation and Income tax return.
  • Keep track of Tax notices received/reflecting in the Income tax portal, co-ordinate with the team to collate the details, and ensure that the response is filed within the specified due date.
  • Scrutiny Assessment/Appeals: Collate the details required by Assessing Officer, review the submission prepared by Tax consultant, discuss with management, and upload the submission in the tax portal.
  • Coordinate with external consultants on Transfer Pricing study, Master file (Form 3CEAA) , MAP, BAPA submissions
  • Liaising with Tax authorities as and when required

 

Indirect Tax:

  • General overview and support to the team on GST compliance.

 

General:

  • Take part in discussions with management on process improvement using AI tools.
  • General supervision and guidance to team on all accounting matters
  • Independently engaging with the US/local stakeholders, take part in discussions and collaborate on accounting projects.

 

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of experience in Tax.
  • Hands on knowledge of General Accounting, Payroll processes, Company law and Income Tax Law compliance
  • Attention to details & Diligence in work
  • Manage team of 3-5 committed individuals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
