Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an exceptional Lead Supply Mgmt Analyst to join our Operations team in San Jose. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.  

 

This position is responsible for managing New Product Introduction (NPI) inventory control, supply planning, and operational processes to ensure timely material availability and efficient execution of product ramps. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.  

Responsibilities

  • Oversee physical inventory organization and stockroom layout for NPI materials.
  • Track WIP inventory and maintain accurate data in dashboards and ERP systems.
  • Implement controlled processes for material transactions and internal asset tracking.
  • Coordinate material flow for engineering samples, customer samples, and scrap disposition.
  • Ensure compliance with quality hold and rejection processes for incoming materials.
  • Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor supply chain metrics (lead times, fulfillment rates) and generate performance reports.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including capacity constraints and external disruptions.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and advocate for tools that enhance operational visibility and scalability.
  • Support cross-functional meetings for planning, logistics, and product lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor planning, NPI operations, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/D365).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse global group internally and externally.
  • A degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field is typically required.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau) and coding languages (Python/SQL) is a plus.

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.  

 

The US salary range for this full-time position is $94,600 to $142,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
