Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional lab technician to join our Memory Interface Chip business unit. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.  

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of BGA/DIMM components soldering/de-soldering hands-on work including working with machine/materials vendors to keep the re-workstation in working order at all times and ensure quality of the re-work before handing the re-worked PCB over to the test engineers.
• Help with general lab duties of general re-work soldering, lab benches’ ESD testing, help maintain lab equipment, and help in ordering and packaging/shipping/receiving of lab use supplies.

• 3+ years’ experience in soldering touch up and reworking BGA/PCB.
• Looking for an experienced and skilled lab technician who can also operate a BGA re-workstation to solder/de-solder high pin density BGAs and memory module DIMM components.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $63,900 to $118,700. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
