Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an exceptional Technical Program Manager to join our IT team in San Jose. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer. 

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.   

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end execution of multiple IT programs including ERP evaluations and implementations, analytics platforms, and business application rollouts.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define program scope, success metrics, and execution roadmaps.
  • Application Portfolio Management: Oversee implementation and enhancement of enterprise applications such as ERP (Oracle, D365, SAP, NetSuite), CRM, HRIS, Finance, Procurement, and Legal systems.
  • Analytics & Insights: Lead initiatives to deploy and scale analytics platforms to support data-driven decision-making.
  • System Implementations: Manage full lifecycle of system implementations including vendor selection, integration, testing, and change management.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish program governance, track KPIs, and provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across IT, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Risk & Change Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in IT program or project management, with a focus on ERP and business applications.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture, systems integration, and software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Familiarity with business applications across Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and SaaS solutions.
  • Agile and Waterfall methodology expertise.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.  

 

The US salary range for this full-time position is $106,500 to $197,700. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
