Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire a Technical Director- Field Applications Engineer for memory business to join our Korea sales team in Seoul, Korea. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Technical Director - Field Applications Engineer, the candidate will be reporting to Korea Country manager in a Full-Time position.

Basically Korea memory FAE will be responsible for supporting all kinds of technical support to SK hynix R&D and product planning team to design in and follow up to maintain business.  You will also work closely with product management and business development to bring field intelligence back to the engineering team to influence product roadmaps and marketing strategies especially Intel /AMD CPU roadmap and JEDEC standard spec.

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related memory industry field.
• 10+ years of chip/architecture experience
• Experience with supporting technical support to SK hynix Module team / product planning team.
• Experience to handle quality issue with SK hynix quality team with full process
• Experience to proceed whole promotion process memory devices into SK hynix including approval material preparing.
• Ability to understanding total solution for module business including CPU roadmap
• Ability to understanding each DIMM module devices specification and function
• Experience to support SSD application including power solutions
• Acknowledge whole SK hynix development process
• Fluent English skill to communicate with HQ
• Willing and able to travel to customer sites
