Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Supply Planning Management Manager, to join our team. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

 

The job requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the manager must be able to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyzing market trends and forecasts to anticipate demand and ensure sufficient supply, including managing inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Identifying and managing risks and contingencies in the supply chain, including natural disasters, geopolitical events, and other potential disruptions.
  • Provides leadership in planning, due diligence in implementing sound strategies to achieve business objectives and drive efficient operation.
  • Working with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of materials, components, and finished products, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitoring performance metrics, such as lead times, order fulfillment rates, and supplier OEE, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure that production capacity and supply meet customer demand.
  • Identifies and advocates for tools that can improve operational visibility and efficiency to enhance planning compatibility and scalability.
  • Developing and implementing Inventory strategies to methodology that align with the company's objectives and goals for growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies risks and problems in a timely manner and drives resolution with speed and agility

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years’ experience of semiconductor planning, operations and/or relevant functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group internally and externally.
  • A degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field is typically required.
