Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Global Compensation Manager to join our HR Team in San Jose Office. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

 

As a Global Compensation Manager, the candidate will be reporting to the Sr Dir Total Rewards & HRIS and is a Full Time position.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, in-depth analysis, and modeling to design competitive compensation programs that meet business needs and align with corporate and functional goals and strategies, including annual budgets by organization, competitiveness assessments of trends and impacts, evaluation of all elements of pay, including sales and equity, and develop recommendations for program changes, enhancements, budgets and structures.
  • Consult with HR team and functional business leaders to support decision making for hiring, promotions, specific organizational program design, and compensation programs roll out.
  • Develop and document compensation program trainings, guidelines, policies and communication materials.
  • Stay on top of global compensation trends by managing survey submissions, conducting data analysis, and networking internally and externally
  • Support development, implementation, and communication of company compensation policies and processes in support of business objectives; and advise management on these practices for their decision making
  • Support development and implementation of systems for management of pay programs, including base and incentive programs (short- and long-term incentive programs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other field that uses quantitative analysis.
  • 7+ years of experience in global compensation including relevant HR field
  • Demonstrated quantitative and data analysis skills + advanced proficiency in Excel, data modeling, pivot tables and data presentation.
  • Operates independently on a day-to-day basis, and is responsive to tight deadlines
  • Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and skilled in advising and consult with managers on compensation related topics
  • Hands-on in-depth experience managing compensation program implementation and roll-out
  • Strong consultative skills and highly effective in communicating clearly and persuasively with excellent influencing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks in a fast-paced, globally matrixed environment.

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.

 

The US salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $200,000  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
