Overview

Rambus, a premier chip, and silicon IP provider is seeking to hire an exceptional lead Supply Mgmt Planner to join our team. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safe. 
 
The job requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work independently and generate supply planning data to drive decisions under pressure. You’ll be managing the outside vendors for that chip project including the foundry, assembly, testing, warehousing, and others. You’ll be coordinating the instructions we provide them, scheduling materials, and making sure dates are met. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with global cross-functional teams, such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure that production capacity and supply meet customer demand. 
  • Analyzing NPI sample forecasts to anticipate demand and ensure sufficient supply, including managing material and substrate inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking. 
  • Identifying and managing risks and contingencies in the supply planning parameters, including ATE along with TP and HW readiness, and other potential disruptions. 
  • Proactively identify potential production risks e.g., capacity, material, quality, etc. and coordinate with marketing/BU to determine allocation while working with operations to craft an optimized production recovery plan. 
  • Working with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, components, and finished products, while maintaining quality standards. 
  • Drive planning system enhancements, report automation, and process improvements to support growing global business. 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience of semiconductor planning, operations and/or relevant functions. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group internally and externally. 
  • A degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field is typically required. 
  • This position is a global role which will require engagement with teams in the US and APAC; flexibility in multiple time zones would be required.

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,500 to $149,500.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
